[Solved] Copy Paid Apps Installed From Windows 8 Store to Another Windows 8 PC

One of our reader asked us how can he copy paid apps he bought and install on one pc to another pc running windows 8, in his case it was his laptop running windows 8, he wanted to install the paid apps on his laptop which he purchased on his desktop pc.

Following are some methods which can help you install the same app on multiple pc. Firstly you should know that you can sign in to the Windows Store using your Microsoft account and install apps you own on up to five PCs.

Install or Copy Apps on Another Windows 8 PC

On the Start screen, tap or click Store to open the Windows Store.

Swipe down from the top edge of the screen, and then tap Your apps. (If you’re using a mouse, point to the top of the screen, right-click, and then click Your apps.)

Choose the apps you want to install, and then tap or click Install.

If you’ve already used your account to install apps on five different PCs, you’ll need to remove one of those PCs from your account before you can install apps on another PC.

Uninstall Apps on a Windows 8 PC

On the Start screen, tap or click Store to open the Windows Store.

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings.
(If you’re using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Settings.)

Tap or click Your account. If you haven’t signed in to the Windows Store, sign in using your Microsoft account.

Under Your PCs, tap or click Remove next to the PC you want to remove from your account.

Things To Note

You can remove a PC from your account when you’re signed in to the Store on any PC.

If you remove a PC, but it has been less than five days since you first used your account on that PC, you’ll need to wait until the five days are over before you can replace that PC with a different one.

After you’ve removed a PC from your account, you won’t be able to use the apps that were installed from the Store on that PC.
